Dr. AbdulWahid M. Salih is a general surgery consultant, head and neck surgeon, and breast surgeon. He has been serving as a professor of surgery at the University of Sulaimani, Kurdistan, since 2023, following his appointment as assistant professor in 2017. He is also a lecturer in both clinical and theoretical disciplines at the College of Medicine, University of Sulaimani, and the founder of the Kscien Organisation for Scientific Research and the Middle East Thyroid Summit (METs). These two notable initiatives have advanced regional academic cooperation and surgical education. He is the supervisor of the Smart Surgical Team (SST), a multidisciplinary group of over 57 members. As Director of the Smart Subspecialty Centers at Smart Health Tower, he encompasses surgical services in head and neck, breast, hernia, and pilonidal sinus surgery.

Dr. Eyas Alkhalili, MBBS, FACS, is a thyroid surgeon at the Clayman Thyroid Center and The Hospital for Endocrine Surgery in Tampa, Florida. Born in Amman, Jordan, he earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan in 2008. He completed general surgery training at the University of New Mexico and an endocrine surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
