Dr. Matalkah is actively involved in regional and international conferences, sharing insights on surgical oncology and robotic techniques. His professional interests extend to thyroid and thyroid cancer surgery, emphasizing precision, safety, and multidisciplinary collaboration to optimize oncologic and functional outcomes.

Dr. Ali S. Alzahrani is a Consultant Endocrinologist at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre and Professor of Medicine at Alfaisal University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Alzahrani received the 2015 International Clinician Award from the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists in Orlando, Florida, and the 2016 Ibn Sina Distinction Award from the AACE Gulf Chapter. He previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Saudi Medicine and currently serves as Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism and Endocrine-Related Cancer. He is also an Editorial Board member of THYROID, JCEM Case Reports, and Endocrine.
He has published about 250 peer-reviewed articles and delivered over 200 national and international lectures. He has been an active member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology, and the American Thyroid Association for many years. He previously served on the American Thyroid Association Research Committee and is currently a member of the International Thyroid Oncology Group (ITOG).
Dr. Alzahrani is a founding member of the Saudi Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism, the Gulf Association of Endocrinology and Diabetes, and the Arab Thyroid Association. His academic interests focus on clinical and molecular research in endocrine oncology and endocrine genetics.

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Eiman Alseddeeqi is a highly accomplished Consultant Endocrinologist and Thyroidologist, with extensive experience in the fields of endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. She serves as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and holds both the American and Canadian Board certifications, as well as fellowship degrees in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
She completed her training at Toronto General Hospital in affiliation with the University of Toronto, followed by subspecialty training in Thyroidology from Boston, USA. Dr. Alseddeeqi is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE) and an active member of both the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and the Endocrine Society.
In addition to her clinical and academic achievements, Dr. Alseddeeqi holds several leadership positions — she is the Chair of the Emirates Thyroid Congress, President of the Arab Thyroid Association, and the UAE representative for the World Congress on Thyroid Cancer (WCTC).
Her research interests focus on endocrinology, thyroid diseases, and thyroid cancer, with numerous publications in reputable scientific journals. She also serves as a reviewer for academic journals and is an international speaker recognized for her expertise in the field of endocrinology.

Dr. Hassan Shawa is a Consultant Endocrinologist and Head of the Thyroid Cancer Clinic at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City. He completed his Endocrinology Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center in the United States. His primary clinical and academic interests focus on endocrine neoplasia, with particular expertise in the diagnosis and management of endocrine tumors.
Prof. Hossam Arafa Ghazi is an Associate Professor of Internal Medicine and consultant of Diabetes & Endocrinology at Mansoura University, Egypt, and Founder and President of the Pan-Arab Society of Interventional Endocrinology & Diabetes Technology (PASID). He is an interventional endocrinologist, international speaker, and certified trainer in thyroid and parathyroid thermal ablation, with experience in more than 1,000 ablation procedures. His main interests include interventional endocrinology, diabetes technology, artificial intelligence in medicine, obesity, and cardio-kidney metabolic medicine. He has delivered lectures and hands-on training programs across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe, and leads several national and multinational research projects in endocrinology and diabetes. He holds postgraduate diplomas in Diabetes from Cardiff University and Endocrinology from the University of South Wales.

Dr. Hussain Alsaffar is a distinguished Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon specializing in oncology and complex microvascular reconstruction. After earning his medical degree from King Faisal University, he completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Western University, London, Ontario, followed by a two-year fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Toronto.
He previously served as Program Director for the Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery Residency Program and Fellowship Director for Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at the University of Ottawa, where he also chaired the weekly Head and Neck Mucosal Oncology Tumor Board.
In 2023, Dr. Alsaffar returned to Saudi Arabia to join King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh. Renowned for his commitment to excellence in patient care and education, he continues to advance innovation in surgical oncology and reconstruction.

Dr. Saadi earned his medical degree from the American University of Beirut in 1985. He subsequently trained in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Saadi served as the Vice Chief of the Medical Specialties Institute June 2011 to July 2026 and is currently Staff Endocrinologist at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. He has over 100 publications including peer-reviewed articles, abstracts, letters, and book chapters and has presented his work at several international meetings. He is a recipient of several awards for his distinguished performance in Research, Education and Clinical Service. He was elected to membership of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society (AOA) at American University of Beirut School of Medicine in 2015.
He was also selected as the 2016 recipient of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist Gulf Chapter Ibn Sina Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the field of diabetes and endocrinology.
Dr. Osama Hamarneh, FRCS (ORL-HNS), is a distinguished Consultant ENT, Head and Neck, and Thyroid Surgeon at Abdali Hospital in Amman, Jordan. He has extensive clinical and surgical experience in the management of a wide range of ear, nose, throat, head and neck, and thyroid conditions. He currently serves as President of the Jordanian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (JSOHNS), having previously chaired its Scientific Committee. Dr. Hamarneh also serves as Head of the ENT, Head and Neck Surgery Department at Abdali Hospital, where he is actively involved in advancing clinical excellence, surgical practice, and professional education in the specialty.
Dr. Mohamed Al Ali is a Consultant Otolaryngologist, Head & Neck Oncology Surgeon, and Laryngologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi, UAE. His clinical practice focuses on head and neck oncology, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, laryngology, and complex airway surgery and reconstruction. He is also the Program Director of the Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery Residency Program at SSMC and is actively involved in surgical education and residency training.
